Friends of Meanwood Park


  • work with ranger in the park, the woods and the meadow;
  • a variety of tasks undertaken incl digging out ponds, clearing vegetation & invasive species  and gardening;
  • please bring your own gloves, sanitiser and refreshments;
  • The ranger provides many of the tools we need .

Join Meanwood Valley Partnership to celebrate the fantastic work that is being done in our community. 


Everyone in Meanwood, residents and all community groups, is welcome to join us to showcase, learn about, shared ideas about and maybe even join in with the great work being done in Meanwood, by Meanwood, for Meanwood. 


So far confirmed are:  children's activities;  Love Meanwood  Greenwood - environmental action for Meanwood  InterACT - Meanwood Pantry, Men Shed etc  Litter Free Meanwood   Lemon Balm  Stitch Up;    Oriental dancing  meet the MVP committee  more to come ....

 

 ☕ The Barn Coffee shop - drinks & yummy things (vege & vegan friendly);   🍦 a vintage ice cream van;

 

A great opportunity to meet the community and find out:

 

             💚 what is happening/available in Meanwood;  💚 sharing ideas;   💚 volunteering maybe;                                           

celebrating all the great work being done in Meanwood

 

It's a great opportunity to see what our community centre has to offer as well.
