A fun workshop for over 18s. Workshop runs 6-7.30pm, then from 8-9pm, if you like, stay to watch MTW members perform in 3 short scenes.
This event will be led by Bridie Moore who is a director, theatre lecturer and facilitator. Meanwood Theatre Workshop (which meets Thursdays 7-9pm term-time) started 2 years ago with a workshop at the Meanwood Festival and we're back again this year to run a fun theatre workshop and to showcase some of the short scenes we have been working on this year (one written by our member Sarah). The event will be in two parts. Firstly between 6-7.30pm we will have a practical workshop in which we'll have fun with theatre exercises and a short piece of text which we'll perform in different ways. Then, after a short break participants have the option to watch three scenes performed by MTW members. The event will run until 9pm. The workshop will be in the top room at Terminus and you're welcome to get drinks in the bar to bring up with you and/or to have in the break. If you would like more information contact Bridie at bridiemoore@live.com
